This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using our website and shopping with us, you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Details you give us: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, order history, and any messages you send us.
- Payment information: card details are entered directly with our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Technical information: IP address, device and browser type, and how you use our site, collected through cookies and analytics.
- Marketing preferences: whether you’ve opted in to our newsletter and offers.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders and keep you updated about them.
- To provide customer support and handle returns.
- To send you marketing and offers — only where you’ve opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To improve our store, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us run our store, and only as needed to provide their service — including our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal), delivery and shipping carriers, and our website analytics and advertising providers (Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel). We don’t currently use a third-party email marketing platform; if we introduce one, we’ll update this policy. Some of these providers — including Stripe, PayPal, Google and Meta — may store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs (APP 8). We never sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how our site is used so we can improve it. This includes Google Analytics 4 (website analytics) and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which helps us measure and improve our advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the site may not work as well. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and manage ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
Marketing & opt-out
If you’ve opted in, we may send you news, new arrivals and offers. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us.
Security & retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Access, correction & complaints
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first and we’ll do our best to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
